Genesis

Loving the spaced out vibes of this video for Genesis by Grimes. Sailor moon meets Zelda's master sword via Britney's snake performance?!

U Da One

I've been following Charli XCX ever since she collaborated with Fred Butler for her A/W 2012 presentation.

I'm a little bit obsessed with this song/video. It makes me want to do air kicks in Spice girl shoes, never a bad thing.
Extra love for the Inbar Spector dress! I styled a shoot with some Inbar Spector pieces and this collection is even more amazing close up, if you can believe it!

Golden Girls

Daphne and Lindsay do their best baby Donatella impressions in the newly released promo for the upcoming H&M x Versace line. However I feel about H&M's clothing collaborations, the accompanying fashion films always capture my imagination, and this one is no different. The gold painted everything reminds me of Gwen Stefani's Sweet Escape video, got to love a golden Frappuccino!

Talk that talk

I know you have probably been spammed with this video on every outlet possible, but I can't resist throwing this up here. I will probably get sick of it when it's been played a million times on every music channel going but I think this is Rihanna's best video to date. It also has a lot of unintentional similarities with the Doc Martins video I blogged about last week, which I also loved. It even has Aggy doing the voiceover!

I feel like we get to see the fun side of Rihanna (e.g. as seen in her always epic fan meet and greet photos), in addition to her pretty decent acting chops in the more 'serious' moments. Go Ri! Can't wait to see what the rest of the 'Talk That Talk' era holds.

Bewitched

Mental note: Must. stop. posting. films.
But really, how could I resist this? The whole outfit on Amber Anderson is to die for! And let's not even discuss Jake Cooper. If only there was a slow motion film purely dedicated to those shoes....oh wait there is. In fact, you can view pretty much every look/accessory in Burberry's A/W 2011 collection in its most satorial glory on this playlist.

The video for 'Jerome' features an entirely new performance of the beautiful and haunting song from 'Wounded Rhymes'. I always have this on repeat at the moment!

'Ten Times Rosie' behind the scenes

I love this behind the scenes look at the creation of the 'Ten Times Rosie' book, shot by Rankin. I know it's not a new book, but I think this film really adds to the images and shows what a fun and hard working girl Rosie seems to be.

There is partial nudity in the footage.

L-O-L Smiley face have a nice-ahh day

I'm not a Mariah fan. However I can't stop listening to the intro to this song. If Mariah was a little more into this self mocking humour and less into dressing up as Eminem every so often I may have to become a fan on the sly, if nothing else because the video reminds me of the epic episode of Super Sweet 16 where Teyana Taylor made her entrance in a huge doll box. You know the one!
