As you may or may not have noticed my posts have been a little less frequent recently. This is due to the fact that me and two of my closest friends have upped sticks from the sleepy town where we attend Uni (okay it's more like a snoozefest but at least it gives us less distraction from Uni work) and moved to central London.
In true student style we've been without Internet since we moved in. After an admittedly shaky start of relying on my blackberry to browse I've begun to (shock!) live without Internet. Good job really, seeing as how I'm going to Florida for two weeks with my family, and I sincerely doubt they get wireless at the magic kingdom.

This is the first holiday I've had actually IN summer. We normally steer clear due to the fact that I'm so pale I could probably be classified translucent. Basically me + sun = BAD.

So those who know me can expect to see a lobsterfied version of me in two weeks time...

Until then I'll leave you with a few things/images I've been liking recently...

Russian dolls... but with phones! Genius! And is it me or does the first one totally take you back to Zack on Saved by the Bell? Loved his 'sneaky' calls under the desk with the phone that was bigger than his head...

Chanel holographic nail polish. Trippy!

The guy on the Lady Gaga iphone app video...haha

Drawing and sketchbooks, specifically with my new stabilo pen 68 set. (Img via Stella Imhultberg)

The unexpected in the everyday.

Wall banners.

Bright pink lipstick <3

Origami everything.

Haircuts.

And of course trashy American food! See you at the Krispy Kreme counter...

Kane you dig it?

Christopher Kane, you amaze me.

Allegedly Kane will be creating a collection for Topshop, due to be released to coincide with Fall fashion week. Until then I may just have to lust after this overpriced imitation. It's kind of odd that Topshop would create an imitation of one of their own New Gen designers but oh well...

A new tv episode entitled 'ArtWorks Scotland - Raising Kane: Fashion's New Star' documents the rise of one of the fashion industry's most prominant stars, not just in England, but the world.

Because it's on iplayer I suggest you watch it asap as they don't have programmes up for long!

And if you've seen it, what did you think?

Watch it here!

First year of University is over! It's gone so fast! I'm celebrating by travelling to see my boyfriend till the end of the week. However due to a screw up with the post (looong story) over the weekend i'm getting the coach instead of the train...not so fun.

What's love got to do with it?

I really want to see this! It looks so sweet! What's cool about the film is that it is only semi-scripted (after all Michael Cera is the king of improv), and Michael Cera and Charleyne are actually going out in real life.
A real film about a fake documentary about real relationships that are actually fake composed by a real couple playing a fake couple.

The mind boggles!

Today we made cakes. I ate far too many.

In other food related news, Chanel Big Mac anyone?

Guess I'll follow this with the
Chanel cupcakes whilst wielding the Chanel chainsaw...? Maybe not. But I might enjoy it with a side of Karl Lagerfeld's twitter page. I'm really not into the whole twitter thing, but with Karl throwing up quotes like:
'Guilty feelings about clothes are totally unnecessary. A lot of people earn their living by making clothes, so you should never feel bad.'
you kind of HAVE to love it.
