Fashion's big night out

The many highlights of this video include:
Alexander Wang with a girl draped over him like a scarf (sorry, I don't know her! GUILTY. Anyone enlighten me?), P Diddy getting increasingly excited/manic as the promo continues (end of a long day perhaps?), and Isaac Mizrahi's hands when he says 'let's make shopping FUN again'. But my favourite part has to be Coco Rocha because she's so darn amazing and peppy.

And obviously because they are telling you, quote: 'the ENTIRE industry is counting on YOU..' which is basically an amazing excuse to spend, yes?
The event will be held in London September the 10th as well as in 12 othe rmajor cities...

Brides and vampires, an obvious combination

So I haven't read the Twilight books DON'T KILL ME. I enjoy the films as much as the next person, mostly because they are so funny they can reduce me to dazzle related tears of amusement (and I can't hate on that), but I haven't got the Twilight commitment in me to immerse myself in the books. Despite this I have unintentionally managed to find out bits of the future plotline, namely there's a wedding and a baby.

Naturally designers are looking to get a slice of the twi-pie, and have designed what they think Bella should be wearing...
My vote is with Erin Fetherston.

And while we're on the subject, when did these come to exist? Firstly I thought the Henry Holland knockoff died with the nu-rave 'movement' (if you can even call it that, it makes me cringe a bit even saying it...). However the person who decided to combine Henry Holland with Justin Timberlake and Twilight is either clinically insane or a comedic genius. Maybe a bit of both? I don't really get the 'bun in my oven' rhyme but I guess spawn of Dracula dazzler doesn't quite have the same ring to it...

In other skull related news, I went to Brighton this Sunday where there was a a shop that (among other amazing feats such as lilac chocolate cats and amazingly elaborate cake) made bespoke chocolate skulls. I had my eye on the one wearing a milk chocolate top hat...

Cousin 'It'

Did you ever read those magazines when you were younger? You know the ones, like MIZZ. One of my favourite parts was the flow chart esque quizes that told you stuff like what shoe you were and what make up represented your personality. A while ago Refinery 29 created the amazing how to get shot by the satorialist, and now they're back with the It girl quiz.
Unfortunately I didn't have what it takes...
