Bleach Salon have formed a collaboration with Barbie where they will redesign her hair every day for the next two weeks. This is such an awesome idea! Barbie has been rocking the same blonde hairdo for years (though I distinctly remember owning a 'hair mascara' Skipper back in the day...). I'm looking forward to see what each stylist comes up with, as I'm loving the results so far! You can follow her daily 'do over at Bleach x Barbie.

I just found an amazing group on flickr that is dedicated to vintage barbie images and had to share. I think the older Barbies were so much cooler than the new ones, the dolls now kinda creep me out, they've made barbie too 'street' these days haha
Move over trends and fads, the original it-girl is still reigning over fashion, one tiny plastic stiletto at a time. It's been very hard to miss Barbie's dominance over the fashion industry recently, from the New York barbie Fashion show...
...to the amazing 50th Birthday celebrations going on over at Colette, where designers and names have made their very own interpretations of the ever youthful 50 year old's style, not to mention the Barbie & Ken by Karl Lagerfeld exhibition which will occupy the store from 9th-28th March. The clothing in particular is bringing back fond memories of hours glued to my Barbie 'fashion designer' computer game. How soon can I get the eurostar again...
