I was invited along to Selfridges to attend a party to mark the launch of Havaianas line of wellies. I don't know how they managed it, but smuggled in the depths of the shop they managed to set up a pretty convincing faux festival, complete with grassy floor, performance stage, dj booth and multiple bars.
The food was super cute- miniature versions of classic festival treats and elaborate cocktails.
It was definitely a lot cleaner/civilised than any of the festivals I've been to, and seeing as how the UK festivals have become a bit of a money squeezing joke I found this a nice change, even if it wasn't technically an actual festival. Getting old much??
