She's a lady
Possibly my favourite MK outfits ever. They're serpentine: sleek and streamlined. Combined with the Asian/kimono esque drapery and signature tousled hair simply stunning.

Something wicked this way comes
Oh my.
Amazing, and nothing less than what I would expect from the McQ house.

Enjoying an afternoon with my sketchbook. It's for a new project which is only in it's early stages, but now is the best time as it could go anywhere!
This page is centred around 'modern burlesque' and society's perception of juxtaposition, for which Raquel Reed is perfect!
Do you keep a sketchbook? If so, for fun or for work?

Valley Girls
It's coming!!! May 11th is when the episode will air which will tie in the flashbacks and lead onto the new series. This will probably be the episode featuring No Doubt I'm guessing?
However let's not get too excited. There are a few questions to pose to the new series. For Instance..
Are you Blair Waldorf dressed as an olde English cockney woman peddling flowers...
Are you Nate Archibald with an EXTREME side parting...
Are you Chuck Bass in a robe with a tiny teacup...
...probably not...but I am going to seriously enjoy watching you try :)
Until then enjoy these recent spreads from the cast in the Terry Richardson shoot for Rolling Stone. I'm not a big Terry fan, but for fangirling purposes I can make an exception this once.
Leighton Meester in McQ HI.
And a cheeky preview for next week, obviously.

My summer holiday was recently booked...naturally this has me thinking about ice cream shades and novelty sunglasses. The urge to go swimming...summer is coming!

How amazing was this shoot? In this case I've been so bad in including the best pictures, but in truth every image could easily stand on it's own, which is why I had to include them all! Coco ALWAYS delivers.

Summer
The advert for the new fragrance 'Flora' by Gucci, featuring model Abbey Lee.
Perfume adverts always intrigue me, because it's impossible to actually show the fragrance of the product, and the best ones usually end up being an abstract interpretation of the brand's ethos.
The fragrance is inspired by the signature 'flora' Gucci print.
I love the colours and unexpected direction it takes. It's so eerie and cold yet exploding with summer colour light. This eeriness hints at the darker work Cunningham has been famed for, for instance his work on videos for Aphex Twin and Bjork. The music really contrasts and somehow manages to suit the visuals. It also kinda reminds me of the flake adverts that used to be on around before Coronation Street a few years ago...haha. Anyway, it's a stunningly directed advertisement, amazing job by Chris Cunningham.
Oh deer
Antler is an online magazine currently on it's second issue.
I like how the magazine is not trying too hard to be 'edgy' and features real people and talent instead of a famous face to draw readers. And how much do I need the rabbit vases?!
It is going to be fee based soon, so read it while you still can!
