Love Chanel's outfit. I mostly like how she's wearing the much hyped Chloe Sevingy Opening ceremony wedges but without making them look exactly the same as everyone else. And props for the comic relief shirt!
I keep spotting this mega spike headband in editorials recently. I'm waiting for a Zac Posen esque size/version to hit the high street...

'I finally get it. Fashion is art. It's just another way of taking what's on the inside and putting it out there for everyone else to experience it. It's not shallow, it's courageous. It's beautiful.'
Yeah yeah. We all know the Rodarte x Colette exhibition is really/amazingly cool. But it wasn't till I saw the dolls that I was in love. Even if it is a bit embarrassing that they get to wear Rodarte and I am stuck with my H&M imitation...ha
And just cause...I would be smiling this much too if I were the muse to Rodarte/invited to their show/wearing their clothes.
I just got Jemina's new album 'Break It Up', it's pretty similar to BYOP, but since I kind of love them I'm pretty okay with that. Because Stereogum is being weird and not letting me post the video, you can go here to watch the new video for Jemina Pearl (Feat. Iggy Pop & Thurston Moore) - "I Hate People" .
I'm wondering why there is a really cheap version of Lady Gaga and what I'm presuming is a Katy Perry knockoff by the shades in the video? Well, why not, I guess haha.
Otherwise, enjoy this instead...
And of course some classics...

I am ashamed to say I'm pretty sure these are on Heidi Montag. Otherwise LOVE.
Credit where it is due, Giles pulled it out of the bag on the closing show. For a designer who was originally not even supposed to be showing in Paris, he went to town. Let's begin with the invites. I mean, with an invite like this HOW could you not be intrigued...
And on to the clothes. I didn't notice till I went on style.com that the first look (green dress, spider, left) is Daphne Guinness. Interesting...
And backstage...
Seeing collections like this leave me asking why his New Look collaborations are never this good...? Pretty amazing. Besides, any show that allows the models (aka Dree) to leave looking this cool deserves a seeeerious gold star.
Initially I was going to do a post with my Paris fashion week favourites up until now. But seeing as how Paris is massively not appealing to me despite the A* name roster, I am going to dedicate this post to Alexander McQueen. Is it me, or is he one of the only designers that is actually daring to do something different at the moment? It really makes me proud when British designers can deliver in such an amazing way and stand up against the more established fashion houses.
I've seen the collection's inspiration described as everything from 'alien' to being put under the inventive headline 'Shoes worn by women, designed by a man' (London lite quality right there). But under the title 'Plato's Atlantis' I think it's pretty self explanitory. It really reminds me of the Disney Atlantis film too, particularly, this scene.
Silver nails! mmm.
I'd like to think that the live stream of the show crashed due to people excited about McQueen's collection, but in reality we all know a certain disco stick toting pop star was to blame. Direct all annoyances towards the HAUS.
