Rob Ryan at Yorkshire Sculpture Park

I love Rob Ryan's work, and was lucky enough to have his exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park right on my family's doorstep!
His work is amazing close up- so intricate and fragile. If you aren't familiar with his work, each image is cut from a sheet of paper using a knife. I can't imagine the amount of time it must take to create just one of his pieces...

The exhibition will run 11 November 2009 - 21 February 2010.

Alexander McQueen, you were an inspiration to many. Somehow you were loved by the industry and the public alike. You had a 'bad boy' reputation, but you still delivered the goods every season. In a time when brands dived into their heritage and retreated, you showed us what fashion and creativity really meant.
