Bewitched

Mental note: Must. stop. posting. films.
But really, how could I resist this? The whole outfit on Amber Anderson is to die for! And let's not even discuss Jake Cooper. If only there was a slow motion film purely dedicated to those shoes....oh wait there is. In fact, you can view pretty much every look/accessory in Burberry's A/W 2011 collection in its most satorial glory on this playlist.

Stop telephonin meeee

Sorry, couldn't resist a tedious Gaga reference title. Anywho, my phone has been looking a bit depressed recently. I bought a deco phone case when I first got my new phone, but months/years of bunging my phone about and throwing it in my bag meant all the best bits kind of fell off and I was left with a zebra gem sticker and a raggy looking heart thing.
I ordered a new case from Lucyboots who I found on facebook. She doesn't ridiculously overcharge like so many other sellers I looked at, and custom makes them so you don't end up with nasty bits you don't really want.
My camera's packed up so enjoy my dodgy webcam face/hair and this photo from Lucy's facebook.

Mario says “I met Kate very early on. Shortly after her first Galliano show I went backstage to congratulate her, only to find her crying: she was disappointed that she had only been given one outfit to model in the show. My answer to her was this: “In life there are perfumes and colognes. You need to use lots of cologne as the scent fades away; with a perfume you just use a drop and it lasts all night. You are a perfume, you will go on and on.”

McQueen of hearts

I love the campaign for Alexander Mcqueen Fall 2011 (shot by David Sims with Raquel Zimmerman). I'm not quite as besotted as much as I was with Lindsay Wixson's campaign, but I love how the McQueen house always push the envelope and make real art pieces out of their campaigns, providing relief from all the bland ads about at the moment.

You've got me for nothing

The video for 'Jerome' features an entirely new performance of the beautiful and haunting song from 'Wounded Rhymes'. I always have this on repeat at the moment!

Prada Fall 2011 Moving Campaign

Untitled from LOVE on Vimeo.

You've (probably) seen the print ads, now Prada have released the moving image accompaniment to their Fall 2011 campaign. At first I was watching it without the sound and got an ethereal kind of vibe, but what with all the stroking and whispering with the sound on, the film seems a bit creepy to me...though you can't deny the amazing clothes/model selections!
What do you think?
