Hey Upper East side-ers/Scottish people...

Is it me, or do the Gossip girl cast seem to dissappear when the show takes a break and then suddenley appear everywhere when it comes back on?
The latest sightings involve the long speculated/awaited on arrival of the Leighton Reebok ads...

She somehow makes them look girlier, though I still don't get the link between upper east side princess and hardcore gym workouts. Although that would explain how she gets that enviable figure...
I especially don't get it now they've thrown a ghetto blaster into the equation.
Hello Aguilera circa CAN'T HOLD US DOWN.

Elsewhere Ed Westwick has been representing Scotland (why?) at some kilt themed event in New York called Dressed to Kilt.

They do know just because he's from England he's not Scottish, right?
why oh why....

Diamonds are forever

If you're going to do leggings, you might as well do them right!
And let's face it, even these are the closest I am likely to get to diamonds in a while...

Living in a material world

There's nothing I love more than a magazine. The glossy finish, the (sometimes) nice paper, the colours, the images, heck even the smell.
None of my magazines are more coveted than Austrian publication Material Girl, of INDIE magazine production. If you read my blog you'll know this is right up there with the greats at the tippety top of my reading list.
After months of nail biting after the next issue didn't show up due to a botched delivery and numerous (very probably) annoying emails sent to R D Franks I finally received an email last week confirming they had the spring 2009 issue in.
Naturally the next time I was in central it was my first stop. I was not disappointed...

To see more Material Girl go here!

Paris, I love you.

I'm not a big deviant art fan. To be honest, I think it's the more embarassing younger sibling of flickr. Nevertheless, when I found this photographer, I couldn't help but post. The colours are insane! There is a real range of strong imagery whilst maintaining an all important signature style.

There's finally a video!

Mad Hatters Tea Party

So as we all know, at the Victoria and Albert museum in London there has been a hat exhibition through collaboration between the V&A and arguabley the world's most famous milliner, Stephen Jones.

Last night I took a trip over to the V&A to investigate further and to attend their 'Mad Hatters Tea Party'. I wasn't sure what to expect, and true to form the V&A went all out.

What really made the event was, as expected, the amazing hats...what was more amazing is that most people had made their own headwear! Really inspiring...

Who's that girl?

I've been very slow on this post. I've been so busy recently with Uni that when the chance came for me to actually purchase the new issue of Lula it had taken me a few trips to London to actually get my mitts on it.
Here are just a few of my personal highlights (well I wouldn't want to spoil it now would I...)
All I now need to complete my magazine dreams is the new Material Girl :D

Please excuse my dodgy photography, and appriciate no pictures do the real thing justice!

There are no words.

I don't even care that I'm insanely late on this, it's too amazing!

Coco Pops

I LOVE this spread, I just came across it again whilst looking through a folder on my laptop. It's from a Japanese magazine, but unfortunately I'm not fluent in Japanese and I can't find any more images of it on the web, so WHICH exactly is pretty much a mystery to me.

It totally just reminds me of that thought you have as a child that if you hold too many balloons you'll float off into the sky...dreamy.

The famous life

First there was XXXtina channeling Lady Gaga's look, now Nicole Richie seems to have adopted the disco stick loving pop star's persona. For this photoshoot at least.
And I have to admit, it looks good on her!
Even if she is wearing those gawdawful Louis Vuitton graffiti leggings...
She even does 'the' pose, you know which I mean!

Yeah, that one!
