No Doubt are going to be on Gossip Girl! Be still my Gwen shaped beating heart!
Will Gwen sport a Chuck bass esque ensemble??
Or will they all have rags in their hair in homage to Adam Ant, as they're performing "Stand And Deliver" ??
Part of me is opting for a Chuck Bass ensemble. Think of the possibilities. Nay. Think of THE SCARF.
Note: I did not make this collage. I am not that obsessed....probably.
Well if Gwen and the crew fancy fixin' up before their appearance, they might want to go here and get their craft on. I love that someone was so obsessed with the scarf that they investigated it...ahem.
Until then, I'll just have to be happy with the promo...
And of course this vintage Penn photo..haha I can't cope!

Fashion week!
Note the starstruck expression. I always end up looking like a giant in photos due to the combined fact of my height and I always end up nearest the camera, but who cares, it's Susie Bubble!
What a busy week it's been! Due to my interning at the Vauxhall fashion week I was able to witness a lot of the shows up close and personal, even if it did come at the price of 15 hour days: so worth it!
One of my favourite designers HAD to be Avsh Alom Gur. To be honest I had never really looked into his work before, but as soon as the first model slinked down the catwalk in this show stopping dress, everyone sat up and took notice.
His collection was flawlessly executed, a fusion of tongue in cheek references to the money crisis (many dresses featured 'credit crunch' in glitter emblazoned across the front) accompanied perfectly by a megamix of music with cash tills ringing and money references. You could really see the excitement on the crowd's faces as every dress came out; a combination of bewilderment and shocked glee as each item surpassed the last in excess and surprise. It is really hard to appriciate the collection on screen and was in a world of its own to witness up close.
here!
I couldn't discuss my favourites without mentioning William Tempest. He really is in a league of his own, both as a designer and as an individual. He was really nice and down to earth, and his designs stole the show.
It was a particlarly nerve wracking show for me as I was a dresser for the final dress (below), but despite the fact that the dress weighed the same as me it all worked out and the model and outfit looked stunning in the flame print number.
Structure was a big theme within his collection, which worked well with the print of the pieces which ranged from crystal to flame . See more here!
Elsewhere in London, the shapes at Roksanda Ilincic were pushing boundaries, and I really like this acidy aqua tone...
Further afield from my little bubble at Fashion Scout, I love Erin Fetherston's collection. The colours are simple, but the shapes and silhouettes are unusual and unexpected.
Karen Walker said herself, "We love the beauty that comes out of catastrophe, and the brittle nature of things." and she takes this literally in her collection which featured delicate items such as broken china smashed across dresses and bags. I like the contrast of femenine and soft shapes with the graphic of the image print.
A similarly unusual take on a classic (ruffles) at Moschino Cheap & Chic...
I have too many favourites from the shows, so expect a mass postage to follow...

Oh the horror!
Fang-tastic ;) Karen Walker's new promos for her s/s 09 line, shot by Derek Kettela, channel an inspiration everyone's favourite night crawler Edward Cullen would be proud of. Even the most sun shy are invited to "Celebrate Sun". Time to vamp it up!

Love life
So the big day is almost upon us...and no I'm not talking about Valentines!
Love magazine, the brain child of Katy Grand and all her ex-Pop team will be launching tomorrow. The cover image has been released and I'm getting serious deja-vu ala Ditto's NME cover...
Due to the fact that the magazine is still being printed, the launch which was scheduled today at Harvey Nichols has been shortened to tomorrow at Dover Street Market, which was initially the second day of launch. Though personally I would have gone to that day either way as the ad suggests there'll be clothing acessories from the creme de la creme of London's fashion elite. P.s. Luella anyone?!
I really like the colours of the image, and I can't wait to see what the magazine will be like and land myself a copy...

I need to stop blogging about Gossip Girl...
The rumours are circulating that Chanel Iman will be appearing on Gossip Girl. Because there aren't enough good looking people in the programme already obviously...
This follows reports that the Misshapes and Adam Green will be appearing in an episode revolving around a party of Serena's.
Is this move to feature Chanel an effort to snag more 'fashion conscious' viewers and well as the tweens?
To be honest, I don't care either way: I love Chanel!
In other, more confusing GG news, Ed Westwick is set to feature in next month's Harpers Bazaar in a shoot with Helena Christensen. The photos really speak for themself...but they also kind of don't as Ed looks photoshopped in on most of them...and what's with all the cougar-ey action going on here?! Well at leats it's a step up for Ed from K-Swiss.
Is it also a little weird that it's almost feasable she could be his mum?Come now Ed, what would Vanessa/Jessica say?!?
To see more of the Terry Richardson 'graduate' shoot gohere!

Gonna party like its yerrr birthday
I'm 19 this week, which means besides the combo of reaching my last year as a teen (*sob*) I am also allowed to window shop in an excessive manner, and imagine what I could get if I won the lottery (as if I ever even play) or I was dating the nice Chuck Bass.
What is a birthday without cake?! And I am definitely a little bit of a cake person. okay, a LOT of a cake person...giant cupcake from lola's
Any variation, any colour, any height, any time. It's love. Rodarte shoes.
Really love these 5 Preview shirts...
Audrey Kawasaki prints & artwork...
A lifetimes subscription/job at Material Girl...
Lanvin sunglasses...
Studded items ala burberry prosum fall 08...
A plane ticket to new york/L.A. I'm missing the October/February holiday I would normally have taken by now, and I couldn't think of any better places to be than here...plus I could really go for a forever 21 binge...
A room like this for me to move into next year...
Cute household appliances/objects, for the same reason.
Chloe' puffball shorts...I also wouldn't mind the beautiful, long, shiny hair the models ALWAYS have...
This amazing Karen Walker dress...
Luella hair bows. Overpriced, yes. Amazing, also yes.
And last but not least these amazing titles from Amazon/the Tate in London...

As the launch of the mysterious Love magazine draws closer, more details are slipping out. Fashionista (.com) have unearthed this image featured in this month's vogue which I didn't really want to buy on principle ( sorry Cheryl, nothing personal!).
Is it me or is the logo completely not what you would expect, given the title?
Also, the styling they've used on Agyness reminds me (apart from the Queen, obv) of the shoot she did with Tim Walker and Luke Worrall in Vogue last year.
Either way, the advert clarifies the launch of the magazine and it's date (Feb 19th).
The location and suppliers on the other hand, still have to be announced..
